Dr. Shazeen Pardesi comes from a family committed to providing the highest quality of dental care – both her father and uncle are dentists in the area. She started her dental career as an assistant for her uncle in Oregon, IL. They have passed their passion about their patients and the dental profession to her.
Dr. Pardesi graduated from Marquette University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in biological sciences and her graduate degree in dental surgery. In addition, she spent a year in advanced training at Jacobi Medical Center in NYC focused on restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and management of facial and dental trauma. Dr. Pardesi is Board certified and licensed to practice in Illinois.
Dr. Pardesi is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She makes it a priority to further her knowledge and stay up to date with the latest advances every year by completing continuing education courses with some of the top minds in the field.
Dr. Pardesi is passionate about patient education and involving patients in their healthcare decisions. She takes time to talk to each patient and to understand their goals before deciding together on a course of treatment. She is excited to work with you!
Pamela – Dental Hygienist
Pamela is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a BS in Dental Hygiene. She has been fortunate to have worked with highly experienced general practitioners as well as specialists through her career. She brings that experience and a history of top notch patient care to Old Town Dental Associates. Pam stays abreast of the latest research in dentistry with countless continuing education courses. She’s compassionate, meticulous, and prides herself on her ability to educate patients on their oral health conditions. In her free time, Pam enjoys traveling with her husband and son.
Caitlin – Dental Hygienist
Caitlin is a graduate of Indiana University. She brings a close attention to detail and a strong desire to deliver the best possible care to her patients. She is committed to staying up to date on the latest research in preventative oral health care, and believes strongly in patient education. She works with patients to minimize their dental needs over their lifetimes by emphasizing prevention and early detection of problems. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time with her husband, Joe, and family.
Chris – Dental Assistant
Chris has been a dental assistant for 9 years, with experience in general dentistry, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in biology with a chemistry minor. He is empathetic and compassionate, and is particularly skilled at calming patients with dental fear. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Eileen, and son, Ethan.
Alysha – Dental Assistant
Alysha is a Navy veteran with a technical degree in health sciences and a background in phlebotomy. She is from Lowell, IN, just across the state line, but was posted in beautiful Hawaii during her time with the Navy. Though she enjoyed the island lifestyle, she is happy to be back home. She has always been interested in the dental profession, and is thinking of pursuing a degree in dental hygiene in the future. With her ready smile and infectious personality, she is great at building relationships with and getting to know our patients. In her free time, Alysha enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs, Dempsey and Leo. She also enjoys running and cooking for loved ones.
Cindy – Receptionist
Cindy has many years experience with customer service and management, including a memorable career as a manager for a successful author. She transitioned to the dental field two years ago, and could not be happier with her decision. She loves being involved in the truly life-changing work that happens in the office, whether in giving someone a new smile or getting them out of pain. She has recently relocated to Beecher from Peru, IL and is very excited about starting this new chapter in life. In her free time, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys golfing, fishing and has a passion for cooking.
Jess – Receptionist
Jessica has had many years of experience in customer service and healthcare. Born and raised in Crete and trained as a CNA, Jess worked at Beecher Manor for three years and in that time developed a deep sense of compassion and empathy for her patients. She is enjoying the transition from direct patient care to administration, as it gives her another way in which to help her patients and develop strong patient relationships. In Jessica’s spare time, she loves spending time with her fiance, Camren, playing with her dog Raja, restoring furniture, crafting, gardening, and hanging out with close friends and family.
